General Manager - San Jose
Seth Hendrickson has had a passion for food for as long as he can remember. A Chicago native, he learned his way around the kitchen from his mother, an avid cook and baker who regularly enters her decadent desserts in charity competitions. Hendrickson attributes his deep appreciation for food and its power to bring people together to these early days, baking alongside his mother.
Hendrickson made his way to the San Jose area in 1987. After graduating college in 2002, he began working as a barista and server at local restaurant Baker’s Square. Soon after, Hendrickson realized that management was his true calling, and at the young age of 24 he was awarded a promotion to General Manager. He went on to become the Food & Beverage Director at the well-known St. Francis Yacht Club in San Francisco, and later worked for five years as General Manager at San Jose’s Black Angus Steakhouse. It was there that he proved instrumental in the 2010 opening of the Black Angus brand’s new concept—The BullsEye Sports Bar. Hendrickson was brought on board with the Left Bank family in 2011, after being drawn to its lively brasserie atmosphere and focus on local, seasonal fare.
When he isn’t busy beautifying Left Bank Brasserie or indulging in the splendors of French cuisine, Hendrickson can be found pursuing his other passions—brewing beer, golfing, and spending time with his son.
